Chutney is a spicy, fruity South African condiment made from chopped dried fruit and onions flavored with a hint of chili pepper. It tastes sweet and acidic with just the right amount of heat. Absolutely delicious to accompany meat, sausage, cheese and even foie gras. Chutney can also be used to add flavor to stews, curries and pastas.
